Nice added handle weight gives me no handle vibration and a nice speed boost to the hands matchups. I recommend you give it a try.
I’m trying to get adjusted to it
I weight up all my paddles quite a bit from the throat up and sometimes even down into the handle, but the Speed cap really is something unique. It almost feels like a counterweight for your paddle by placing the weight beneath your hand. Even after adding the extra ounce it feels almost easier to maneuver and more whippy. I’d advise playing with your current lead set up and just add the cap on before making any adjustments. I took off some lead to keep the overall paddle weight down and I ended up putting it right back on since having the weight so low with the speedcap had no impact on hand speed. If you have a paddle you like thats out of balance, underpowered, or needs more control this simple addition may surprise you. The cap is flared slightly more than any stock cap I’ve played with and gives you a solid purchase. Rolls feel amazing with the weight under your hand. Will definitely be putting these on all my paddles!
Best thing since Slyced bread! Super easy to install. Have used it on both a CRBN 2x and new Gen 3 Joola Scorpeus. I went back and forth with and without for quite some time and now couldn’t imagine playing without it. It’s that good!
