You might already have these at home but if not it’s well worth it. Once you have a slyce speedcap, you won’t play without it so this won’t be your last one. Be careful not to dig the end of the flathead into your handle when removing the staples (rookie mistake!). Use code truslyce for 10% off.

The small flat head screwdriver made removing the staples from the old butt cap simple, and having the cloth athletic tape made fitting the Speedcap securely pretty simple. I ended up using epoxy on the first one I installed as it came off in my hand during play. Not so using this method. That will allow me to reuse the Speedcap if I ever have to replace my paddle.

Before purchasing this, I looked around for athletic tape and a small screw driver other places (including my garage - where I struck out), I actually saved money buying it from SLYCE! So save yourself some time and money (if you don't already have these at home), it's definitely worth it and made it easier to replace my butt cap - just please don't use a knife...
