Paddle head is more stable thanks to the added weight from the 007 SLYCE cap. The original butt cap of Selkirk 007 Labs paddle was difficult to remove due to glue from the manufacturer. You must carefully heat it up with a torch and use pliers to remove the original cap. Installation was easy with the kit, though not a necessary purchase.
