Helps with the front loaded balance of the gearbox paddles

I don't like how the Gearbox Speed Cap is split unlike the rest of them that are 1 piece. It doesn't seem like it can be tight enough around the paddle, leading to a little more vibration and instability. I've put it on 3 or 4 times now using different techniques and still can't seem to get it right. Hoping it's just user error but I'm not sure how else it can be installed.

Hi, unfortunately for the Gearbox paddles there is no other way to install the SpeedCaps. Are you using athletic tape around the SpeedCap like we show in our installation video to secure it in-place?

Slyce Speedcaps are a must have for all paddles imo! It’s an essential tool that not only brings an equal balance from head to handle but also brings more stability and overall just better hands in the kitchen! The Gearbox speedcap is clutch because it’s much easier than the rest!

Honestly just wanted to try the slyce cap for fun, but wow! It really balanced out the paddle! I'm loving it!

Fixes the Pro Ultimate's only weakness

I love the Gearbox Pro Ultimate, but it's high balance point does make it sluggish at the net. The speed cap fixed this issue. Even though the overall weight of the racket is now heavier, the lower balance point allows me to whip the paddle around much easier. One caveat I'd add though, I added some lead tape (2.5 grams on each side) at the 5 & 7 spot to adjust for the lower balance point and keep the sweet spot and twist weight pure.
